Ms. Wendy Waterman: This is my 13th year teaching and my 12th year in kindergarten. I graduated from UH with a degree in Education with an emphasis in reading and early childhood education. I am so thrilled to be teaching at Roberts Elementary. I grew up in a neighborhood close to Roberts and to be able to give back to the community warms my heart. I love to travel and learn about cultures that may differ or have commonalities as my own. I have traveled to Japan, Israel, Berlin, Munich, Prague, Paris, Budapest, Vienna, Salzburg, Warsaw, Krakow, Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Toronto, all over Italy and a few others. I have one brother who lives in Munich. My mom lives a couple hours out of Houston and loves to bring her farm animals to visit the classroom. Half of my family is in Boston and I try to head that way as much as possible. Oh, and I can't forget my little Boston Terrier doggie, Chunk. I am a product of HISD and a huge advocate of public schools.
